The location was marvellous, just next door to Santa Clara and both Santa Cruz, the beach was next to the venue. It also was within 15 min walking distance to Rio Del Mar Beach. The rooms were huge and had a lovely view of the ocean.

Our stay at Rio Sands was great value for the money. The room was comfortable and we felt safe with the fenced property and separate pool area. The staff, especially the kind and friendly front desk girl, made our experience even better. The hotel's location was convenient, with a deli and liquor market nearby, and we enjoyed meeting new people and having drinks in the outdoor area.
Food for breakfast could be improved by adding fresh scrambled eggs and sausages to the menu.
